When things like this happens, it leaves a lot to wonder about.
I would like to know the make and model.
However, there is not much that can be done if you cannot see the menu or if the camera does not turn on when the on button is pressed.
You are at a point which means that the camera needs some kind of repair.
This many times is the result of a number of things which can be any of the following or none: Water damage due to water exposure, impact damage due to impacts of different kinds, including when the lens is out, a sudden failure of internal components, failures of switches or connections. All of this means the camera needs repair or you can also consider to sell it for parts or as a repair, as is item.

My Audio headset has worked great-but now...it stopped working

Could be the battery has a weak charge! Try running the battery completely flat, recharge fully, then run completely flat, and repeat this cycle about 3 times......This will give the rechargeable battery a revitalised full charge! This is a good procedure for any rechargeable battery as part charging and charging when not completely flat does take its toll on a battery.

Coleman rechargable lantern Model 5327A750. Have not used it in a while have left it on charge for over 24 hours. the night light works but the main light does not go on. Replaced the bulb and still...

just read the charging instructions. Charge for 16-18 hours. If stored for more than 6 months recharge for the full 16 hours. Do not leave the lantern on after the battery has stopped, has overdischarging the battery can cause problems in recharging to a full charge. If this does happen, switch lantern to off and recharge for 40 hours.YES 40 hours. Only the LED is the only light to be used while charging. If you hane the other light on hi or low the battery does not charge.

Hope this helps

I have a samsung L100 digital camera. the battery had to be recharged but the lens cover only partially closed at the time that it shut down. I tried to recharge the battery, when I turn on the power...

The battery was tested and showed to be fine. The camera just malfunctioned during the shutdown. The used battery was put into a new camera and it's been fine.

Power led lights up but nothing else works and will not power up. Is there a motherboard fuse or thermostat that I can check or solder?

My guess is to check the battery. If your laptop allows it (you won't know until you try), remove the battery and use AC power and try turning it on. If the laptop works correctly through AC power and without the battery, try to replace the battery to see if the problem is caused by the battery. Remember that all batteries lose their ability to store power after every recharge until they just drain power.

Otherwise, I don't have a clue what the problem is.

Sennheiser TR136 Wireless Headphones Nothing Happens

I had a similar problem - after owning them for 4+ years, no sound we coming out, and no beeps -- nothing. The lights on the charger stand were on though.

I tried buying new rechargable AAA batteries and they were NIMH (nickel metalhydride?) and still didnt work. I borrowed a friend's pair of NICM (nickel cadmium?) AAA rechargables though and the problem was solved!

So, it would seem the some of the new chargable battery types might not work in older models of this unit (which is also called the RS 130 now in the US and Cdn web sites).

Hope this helps!

Having trouble with turning it on

Try changing to rechargable batteries. I had exactly the same problem. I used recharable they run out so tried various types of alkaline batteries but the camera would not turn on. Getting the flashing green light. Charged the batteries put them back in and working again

Replace the NiMh batteries. They might be bad. Could happen during power surges as you indicated you had. Let them charge up fully 14-18 hours as the book suggests.
