Try and reset the device using the computer this method will reset the entire device so if theres any music on it get it off before trying this. Reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the manufacturer?s website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.

ON MY SPI MP3 IT WON'T LET ME REMOVE SONGS

Try you docking it with you PC. When the PC recognizes the device, double click on the icon. Find the song you want to remove. Highlight the song by clicking on it once. While holding your right button down choose "cut" If this works, continue the same procedure until the songs you need deleted are removed. If you need to wipe the player clean, your player may come with a reset function. If you already have the songs on your PC and you don't have a reset utility, you can always format the drive

Press the reset switch on the back of the device. You will see it as a small hole near the bottom (a toothpick fits nicely for this)

Shuffle mix max

That's not actually how you delete songs from the player. When you connect it to your computer you will see a new removable disk called Mix Max in your My Computer icon or in Computer if you have Vista. Open up that Mix Max icon and then you can highlight and delete only the songs you don't want or all of them.

The memory could be corrpt in the player. It some times happens so try reformatting the memory to clear it up. This will erase everything and then you can put your songs and stuff back on it. Here's a link to the manufacturers instructions on how to format the player.

Error free 4mb of space to build music library and disney mix max won't play any songs?

The memory may be corrupt and it can't read the music files correctly. Open your My Computer icon and plug the player into your computer. You should see a new removable disk called Mix Max appear. Right click on the disk and choose Format from the pop up menu. At the Format window make sure that the File System is set to FAT32 and click Start. At the next window click OK to proceed. You'll then need to add the songs back to your player but it should correct the problem. When adding the songs to the player again make sure that you leave at least 4 megabytes of space available so it can create the library file.

The memory may have become corrupt. It happens some times with devices that have internal memory if you don't use the safely remove hardware thing in Windows. Try formatting the memory. You'll have to add your songs back to the player afterwards but it will probably clear up the issue. Here's a link to the instructions on how to do that.
It has to make a library file of the contents on the player. It uses that file to display the titles and artists when scrolling through the menus and what not. You'll have to format your player in order to clear it up. This will erase everything and then you can put your songs and stuff back on it. Just make sure that when you do you leave at least 4 megs of space for it to make that library file. Here's a link to the manufacturers instructions on how to format the player.

They also have instructions on how to safely remove hardware in their FAQ's on the site.
