Hi,

Yes, this happens only because of Either faulty RAM or faulty Mother Board.

Replacing RAM is not very expensive but repair of Mother Board components is pretty costly.

So, be careful in this regard.

Please rate this solution properly if it was helpful to you.

Acer aspire 5920G- wont switch on. I can't hear

Hi Lenny,
not god news Im afraid, it sounds as though either your screen or your graphics chip are faulty. Help is at hand though, you could try connecting to an external monitor, but as your laptop is switching off, it is unlikely that this will work any better. You can remove the hard drive any install it into another machine, this should be straight forward, although if the machine in question does not have the corect connections then you will need a caddy. these are pretty cheap and plug into usb allowing access to the data on the drive. Hope this helps.

My acer aspire 3000 wont boot! i have the black screen. whhat should i do

Try taking out the battery not the CMOS battery power cord remove from input of laptop press the power button to discharge. Let sit for about 15 minutes. When that is complete replace the battery and place the power supply unit and power laptop back on this may do the trick. Now if that does not get it to boot then try the recovery disc option when inserting the restore disc in. Or if Windows disc do a repair. It will assist you will the boot fix. Let the software do its thing.
If that does not assist you then you may need to have the notebook serviced to see what the problem is. It can mean a board matter or if the machine does turn on and you hear fans going or a fan it may be the lamp in the screen has gone out. So many variables involved here that it would be wise to have it checked out by a professional before messing anymore with this Notebook.

Try to get an external dvd drive and hook it up to the laptop. Choose the external drive as your boot device and then boot up off of the disk so you can restore your laptop back to factory defaults.

Acer aspire 5050 can't turn it on

If you dont see any green lights and you dont hear any boot up sounds ( hd, fans, etc) try to take out battery and just plug in the AC adapter to a known good power outlet. Make sure your power plug is good too. If you hear boot-up sounds, see green lights but no display then toggle on the "fn" key and or try on an external monitor.
