The code means the detergent door is open. There is a magnet placed inside the detergent door cover housing that has probably fallen out. This magnet completes a circuit when the door is closed. It usually happens when cleaning the compartment and can usually be found stuck somewhere on the washer metal body itself or somewhere on the path you took while taking it to wash it out. Take the detergent tray out and dissamble it by pushing open the plastic tabs that hold it together. Look for the small 1"long magnet. If there isn't one. take your tray assembly to a repair dealer and have them put a new one back in. It is just a few dollars and your problem will be solved.

If you are getting a DDO error code this is due to the small magnet on the right hand side of the detergent door. The easiest way to replace the magnet is to pull the detergent door all the way out. After you have removed the detergent door flip the door over and look at the bottom side of the door you will see a small slot magnet fits vertically in a slot on the left side if you are looking at the door right side of the door if you were looking at the dispenser upside down in the white plastic. If you have any further questions message me back. I await your reply.
