Sector stopwatch minute hand does not move...

Hi I just bought Sector, but when I start the stopwatch its minute hand just does not moving. Only the second hand and 1/10 hand are moving? What could be the problem? Although the three stopwatch hands are in right position 12h - only the stopwatch minute hand is not counting the minutes? The watch is almost brand new with 2 yrs international guarantee. Should I go to the support to fix it?

My invicta reserve second hand does not move

Very often not the second hand, but the seconds hand for the stopwatch. If you are sure it is, then try pulling the crown out, moving the minutes hand and then resetting the crown.

The large hand is the chronograph (stopwatch) hand and only moves with the stopwatch.

What are the three little faces for? do not have instructions

Your watch is a chronograph or a watch that includes a stopwatch. Two of the three dials are for recording minutes and hours with the large sweep second hand recording seconds. Pushing the upper button starts and stops the stopwatch function. Pressing the lower resets everything to zero. The small bottome dial is the seconds hand for the watch, it always is moving.

your watch is chronograph,. and it is not in the picture. probably your problem is the second hand won,t move, it is because that the sub dial on the lower part it is the real second hand. the big second hand is for the stopwatch. the to sub dial on the upper sides of your watch. the upper button/bumper is to start and stop the stopwatch or the big second hand and the bottom bumper/button is to reset it. i hope this can solve the problem...

Resetting stopwatch dials - Armani AR5331

When you reset the big seconds hand to zero, the hour and the minute hand are not engaged in this function, so, there is no fault with the watch movement.
Do as follows:
1) pull out crown and set the hour and minute hands at 6 o'clock (they must be lined perfectly in opposite directions)
2) push the crown in half way back (not completely)
3) push and hold the button at 2 o'clock (set the big seconds hand to zero) and release it when done
4) when big seconds hand is zeroed push the crown back in
5) pull the crown out again and set desired time
6) push the crown back in.
If all actions described do not work, you will have to visit your nearest watch repair shop and ask to refit chronograph hand as in this case it is out of balance (not pointed at exact mark).

Rolex Daytona Chromograph

ok. bear with me. lol. on most watches without a chronograph. the second is the largest hand on the watch and naturally that's what most people refer to as the second hand. On a chronograph the "true" second hand is the little middle dial. It should always be constantly moving and the large hand should only move when the stop watch funtion is in play. The way to employ the stopwatch funtion is by unscrewing both buttons. The top button starts the action. Once pressed then large hand will begin. The little dial on you left will keep up with each minute that passes. To stop the function, press the top button again. To reset the stop watch, press the bottom button. The little dial on your right is simply military time. Hope that helps. Good luck!!
