Question about HP Pavilion dv9000z Notebook
Flip the unit on its back and remove the battery.
Next remove the memory and hard drive.
In the memory area, you will find a lit. battery with a white 2 wire plug. Disconnect this plug and flip unit over.
Open the cover and hold down the power button for 30 seconds.
This will clear the BIOS and CMOS settings on the Laptop.
Flip the unit over and install the Hard drive and memory.
Next, plugin the battery connection.
Close unit up and plugin power connection.
Power up the 9000 and see if the keyboard is seen.
Note. You may have a defective or dammaged keyboard and may need to be replaced.
You can use a USB keyboard temp. About $20.00 USD at any Walmart
Hope this works for you.
