Question about KitchenAid KGRT607 Gas Kitchen Range
I have a kitchenaid superba free standing range kgrt607hwh6.
The oven does not cook properly – the temperature seems wrong. I have already followed the steps to adjust the temperature calibration based on the owners manual
Sometimes when I open the oven door the appliance light goes on – sometimes not.
The convection oven fan turns off/on intermittently while cooking - I think this is supposed to stay on all the time.
Occasionally I get the error code F7 E1, when I hit cancel it disappears.
Is this something I can repair myself?? If so what is the part name/number I should be looking for??
F7-E1 - Common Switch Wire Is Defective - This error occurs when common wire to latch switch and door switch is shorted.
Check all connections at control board and at the latch switch and door switch.
If connections are ok, then check individual switches as outlined for the F5 error code.

F2-E1 Error indicates
a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is
bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it
should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the door
appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and should
be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.
