In this case you need to check of the memory is good try to use another memory if you have. Remove the memory stick and try to turn in on. Is the unit beeping, reinsert the memory stick try to use the other memory slot. Clean the memory with the use of eraser. First cause of beeping is the memory problem. Hi,
Do this motherboard beeping sound code first.
1. No beeps means short, no power and loose M.B. peripherals(VGA). (need to change Motherboard).
2. One beep means everything is working good.
3. Two beeps means CMOS error (need change bios rom ic).
4. Continuous beeps means memory not detected (try to clean slot and change memory).
5. One long beep, two short beeps means Videocard external loose or defective parts.

I hope this information will be helpful to you.

Computer won't boot and keeps beeping until I shut it off manually. Short very quick beeps, no pauses whatsoever. Frozen at Vaio boot screen.

How many beeps do you hear? Going on assumption, you may need to replace the memory cards - making sure they are the correct type for your board and making sure that you are using memory in pairs -- Using 2 512MB cards verses 1 card,

Good Luck

Beeping M791G PCChip MotherBoard

These are called "Beep" codes. Most motherboard are the same codes, for instance 8 beeps then repeat is a video memory issue. See this site for details:

It could be a mis pluged in ram or card. OR a failed motherboard. This site should help.
