Hi,

Actually, the Main power of laptop is divided into two parts.

First one is went to mother board and another one goes to monitor.

When proper power doesn't reach to monitor it flickers or keep getting disturbed. Its likely to be some wiring faults. So, try to check all power consumption of laptop using Multimeter.

As soon as you repairs this monitor's power cable channel your monitor will work perfectly.

HP G62 black screen on start up

If it has no "ghost image" on the monitor, nothing, it could be a connection issue, a ribbon cable on the rear of the monitor, the inverter, a tiny switch the operates the on/off of the backlighting when the lid is opened or closed, sometimes located near the lid hinges. Have you tried a External Monitor? Take a look at this video, it may help troubleshoot the issue: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Yi6GNFcP3w

Notebook Crashes to PowerOff state when lid is closed

Running intense program with the lid closed will cause a sharp rise in temperature making the laptop hotter than it should be leading it into a shutdown. The second issue, windows should be shutdown properly rather than closing the lid, this makes the operational system unstable and will cause files to corrupt eventually.

Laptop keeps shutting down

There are a few reasons, bad power supply adapter, cooling fan is not working or there is dirt blocking the ports causing it to shut down, battery issues, "remove to verify" the DC jack in the laptop has become intermittent and must be dismantled down to the motherboard level and flipped over for solder touch up.

My laptop's screen suddenly went white.

On your laptop, there are function keys. on mine, I have "fn" near the control key. Then you will notice there are corresponding (usually by color) for the functions. My laptop allows me to change the output of the screen in three ways:
  1. Display properties in control panel (you cant see those though!)
  2. Hook up the vga to external monitor, turn the computer on until it is booted, then close the lid
  3. pressing fn and the key that says "crt/lcd". For me it is fn/F8

Your power management in Windows is corrupted. I would do a system restore to an earlier date.
1.
Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore.
2.
On the Welcome screen, click Restore my computer to an earlier time, and then click Next.
3.
On the Select a Restore Point page, select the date from the calendar that shows the point you'd like to restore to, as shown in Figure 2, and then click Next.

4.
On the Confirm Restore Point Selection page, verify that the correct restore point is chosen, and then close any open programs.
5.
Click Next if you are ready to proceed or click Back to change the restore point.
6.
The computer will shut down automatically and reboot. On reboot, you'll see the Restoration Complete page, and then click OK.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe
