Wont self lite?? no snapping sound

Four possible causes: First it hasn't been connected to the mains, some ignition systems work on the mains sockets, if it's is plugged into the mains it could be the fuse in the plug. It could be a battery believe it or not some igniters work off a battery, this will be well hidden! Finally it could be the ignition switch. These are easily sourced and replaced - just replaced mine recently for a few pounds. Hope this helps

No power

If you've checked the obvious, the socket it's plugged in, fuse, cable etc etc then check where the mains contacts the power board. Could just be a dry joint that needs re-doing. Next up would be power transformer or transistors

Getting buzzing sound from speaker but can here sound from them.

You could have an earth loop which causes a hum/buzzing sound.
Is your computer and powered speakers plugged into different mains?
Connecting amplifiers and speakers to different power sockets will create earth loop problems
This can be fixed by using a single power board connected to a single mains power socket, then connecting all the computer components and powered speakers into this one power board.

First thing to try is updating your sound driver.

Visit Acer's support page, find your model, download the software, install. test.

Let me know what happens.

Static noise coming out of speakers

What sort of computer do you have? Is it a laptop or desktop? Many laptops have this problem and it is quite widespread in laptops. The crackling or humming noise could be a result of interference from the mains power signal.

If it's a laptop, try running it on battery alone (take out the mains power cord). My laptop has this kind of noise in speakers when running on mains electrical supply, but it goes away like magic when I run it on battery.

A more long-term solution is to buy a 'Ground Loop Isolator' and insert it between your computer and the speakers/earphones. They are quite cheap and you could get it for under £10. It removes all static noise and you'll hear crystal clear sound.

This isn't a software issue. If your laptop is still under warranty have it serviced. If not, see if the costs involved are even worth it. Something within the hardware sounds like it caused a chain reaction and has affected more than just the battery.
