RCA D52W19 rear projection tv wont turn on

I was playing playstation and i fell asleep and woke up and tv was off, so i press the on button and nothing..........that was the last time tv was on

tried that, tv has been off for months, ill give it another try though. however i tested some parts with my mulity meter. it gets power, but i suppose something is blown. i hit the on/off button but no response. no green light or anything.

Try this. Change the channel of your TV to 3, do you see a picture, if not. Unplug your system for the TV. Turn off and unplug the TV. Leave it off for about 10 minutes so it can discharge. Turn back on the TV and see if it re-sets. If this does not work let me know. Give me a detailed report including any brand or models you are asking about. Hope this helps.

Fell asleep with my rca projection tv on woke up to no picture But sound. I turned the tv off and unplugged and now when I turn it on I can here it powered up but no picture or sound. The power button...

Look for bad capaciotrs on the deflection board cp150 2200uf 16v use 25v(,cp114,cp120) bothe 220uf 35v,cp110 220uf 200v. Deflection board is the bottom lefthand side board that has FBT flyback Transfomer on it also resolder all the Pinns on the FBT.

RCA D52W19 52 doesn't power up and have a picture

press and hold the power button for a few seconds. it should blink some codes. does your tv try and power itself on a few times. does it not show power at all. need more info to determine cause.

My TV won't turn on.

If this is a RCA Picture Tube Rear Projection, the Deflection Board will cause this problem. I do not know though if it is available.

Hello , I believe this may be a HV/LV power supply problem since this is a common issue in this RCA ITC222 chassis, I posted this earlier and I beleive that it can help you, Hello This is a common problem with the ITC222 chassis, I would check CP120, CP140, CP150 to see if they are bad I suspect CP150 is the one that is bad. Its value is 2200uf 16VDC. It is located on the same board as the IHVT and is in between the Heat sink in the middle of the board. I would also like to say that if possible you should get a qualified TV Technician to repair this set for you, due to the nature of this problem and the dangerous voltages present. try unplugging the tv for a few hours. then plug it in and push the power button on the front of the tv.

it has something to do with this processor issue inside the tv....its pretty much a stupid thing.

should have been a recall because everyone has the same problem on here.

this is pretty much just a band-aid over cancer, but i've been having to do this for about a month now, and it works.
