Can you help me figure out how to replace the belt on this Hoover
You didn't give your model #, but most Hoover's, if you turn the vac ove, take out the screws to remove the plate covering the brush roll and belt. The number of the belt is on the belt, unless it is worn off, it is also on the metal tag that the model number is on. Put belt around the motor shaft or pulley, then around the brush roll and stretch it to put brush roll in place. If this is a wind tunnel, it has 2 belts, one for brush roll, which is a V belt, and a flat belt for the motor to the pulley.
