Assuming you are saying mostly when working on Internet you are having slow performance issues.

Causes can be from a number of sources. Are you connecting wireless to Internet? Source signal may be to weak or unstable. Preferrable to keep signal at 80% or better.

Web sites and how your connectivity navigates through the Internet cloud (server to server to server and so on) can be hampered by any point along the way.

If you are using a wireless router that is shared by mulitple computers, try isolating and removing other computers and any network devices (wireless print servers). You can also try connecting with an Ethernet cable directly to router or modem.

Tip

Speed up your browsing of Windows 2000 & XP machines.

Here's a great tip to speed up your browsing of Windows XP machines. Its actually a fix to a bug installed as default in Windows 2000 that scans shared files for Scheduled Tasks. And it turns out that you can experience a delay as long as 30 seconds when you try to view shared files across a network because Windows 2000 is using the extra time to search the remote computer for any Scheduled Tasks. Note that though the fix is originally intended for only those affected, Windows 2000 users will experience that the actual browsing speed of both the Internet & Windows Explorers improve significantly after applying it since it doesn't search for Scheduled Tasks anymore. Here's how :

Open up the Registry and go to :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Current Version/Explorer/RemoteComputer/NameSpace

Under that branch, select the key :

{D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF}

And delete it.

This is key that instructs Windows to search for Scheduled Tasks. If you like you may want to export the exact branch so that you can restore the key if necessary.

This fix is so effective that it doesn't require a reboot and you can almost immediately determine yourself how much it speeds up your browsing processes.

Thanks

Have a great day.

Where can I get a manual?

You can not do a tune up from a manual, it takes a lot of experience to do a tune up properly. I would get somebody experienced to do it and get them to show you how it is done and why adjustments are carried out the way they are. You need a couple of years of full time experience to begin to understand that particular task

How to remove front timing cover on 4.2 engine

You really want to do that at home !! ?? !!

If you got tens of thousands in tools & a couple
decades of auto repair experience--- go for it

You will need the basic floor jack,4 jack stands, air
compressor,air tools

You can watch You Tube Video on how it is done

You really don't need a 4.2 chevy to get the idea of the task

Removal of water pump on a 95 lexus es300

Sounds like you got some bogus advice. First go to your local library and check out the repair manual that covers your vehicle. This manual will instruct you on how to carry out most all common repairs. The belt you reference is probably not the timing belt, but that's something you'll learn when you find the repair manual for your car. By the way you should have your own repair manual for your car. It's very valuable, and can give much needed info to help decide if you can do the repair you're contemplating (is in your experience level). You'll make things worse if you can't/won't follow instructions. Most repairs can be done by the owner (in my opinion). If you know basic hand tools and do this one thing - always read the instructions beforehand to be sure you understand what the particular repair entails. Also this will alert you to the need of any special tooling to complete your task. Once you find a repair manual at the library you can compare the different brands. Chilton manuals are very popular, but there are others out there, and you may prefer them. Good luck.

Have Mits HDTV have horizontal lines running across screen, whats the problem? After it warms up, seems to lessen but does not go away.

Hi if its a Dlp it will be an issue with the dmd This is how the dmd works: http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/dlp1.htm Basically the dmd is a chip that carries 2 million pixels that create the image and colors .When its bad it will cause pixilation, color discoloration or stripes. If its an Lcd it seems you are experimenting a light engine problem. This is how your tv works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLLHnQ4y-wo So basically the 3 Lcd chips that create the colors and image is going bad and thats why you get that color discoloration.Contact Mitsu or look for your light engine online.God bless you and your house!

Radiator for chevy s-10

It requires a specialty tool (around $10.00 I think) to remove the lines from the housing. I know Sears carries them and that way they're Craftsman. Use that on the line and fitting to remove. The GM type is cheaper than the Ford, but it basically looks like a hinged socket with a handle.

What is the Defination of Float

write_abdulr,

Float (or Slack) is the amount of time that a task in a project network can be delayed without causing a delay. If there is no delay to Subsequent tasks it is free float. If there is no delay to Project Completion it is total float.
