Question about Dishwashers
Stop **** resembles a threaded hole with a bolt screwed into that hole. Basically its a manual drain similar to any cars radiator's drain plug/****. There must be something which is blocking the normal drainage tube, hence the machines is indicating manual draining such that the drain & sump can be cleared which has blocked the main drainage.......sodeep

Thanks for using FixYa. The first thing that should be checked is if its draining properly as it could be that the drain hose is clogged and needs to be cleaned. The drain pump also should not be clogged. Also the stopcock should be opened fully and the water inlet valve should be checked for any clogs. Also the metal filter, impeller cover and the air gap unit should be checked. After checking this you can reset the error as follows: turn the rotary selector switch to "Stop/End" or press the "Start/Stop" switch for approx. 5 secs. Then switch the appliance off and then back on again. Please revert back for further assistance.
