I get to the bootloader screen but nothing else will happen. I would like to load the os system. I can scroll thru the choices, by hitting the reset button. Magellan is a waste of time and just what you to buy a new unit. they hope it lasts for a year and then you buy a new one they don't repair anything.

My Maestro 4000 was updated to latest firmware about 2 mo ago and seemed to work fine. On a recent trip the unit seemed to lose all map data (was tracking movement, speed, dir, etc but was 'flying through space' on an Interstate that was in the existing 2005 map). By end of trip, unit does not get past startup warning screen. Will reset back to startup screen but also will not go past it. Plug in USB and it shows up as two drives (SD card is second) but on-board flash is not readable and unit will not update. Removed / reseated SD with no change. Ideas? Anybody fix these? HELP!
