Try to look for the settings that the source will be in ipod dock, if there is.

I have a panasonic sc BT 100 blu ray home cinema system, the iPod and optical inputs appear to not to be working, are there any internal fuses that could have blown

Inputs are not fused. Have you looked at the manual(s)?

Register and download the manual for free at retrevo.com

Digital inputs need to be assigned. The optical cable must be routed with no tight bends.

The other day I came home from work and my Panasonic SC-PT770 would not turn on. I made sure everything was plugged in, all wires were connected, and flipped the circuit breaker. The manual said to plug it...

Did you check the outlet that it's plugged into? Sometimes we see defective outlets in surge protectors. Check the end that plugs into the receiver also, unplug it, then reconnect it.

My toshiba tv was in the garage for a month. It is now flashing dew protection please wait

Let the tv warm up for a day or so before trying it...there is a sensor in the set that will sense condensation and keep the unit from powering up so that it won't get damaged by the moisture

Sounds like you have a loose cable. Check that the connection is really in well. If the problem continues I would get a new set of cables, especially if you are using the ones that came with the receiver or dvd player.
