LG RZ17LZ40 remote control code
Hi, hope someone can help. I need the remote code for my LG lcd tv model no RZ17LZ40. I want to pair it up with my jvc DR-MV5sek so that I can control the tv through the jvc remote. looking in the jvc handbook it does not show anything for LG. I do not need full control functions but I need to be able to turn the tv on/off. Any help would be gratefully appreciated, regards Diart

- I do not know how this problem got posted, but my problem is for a Sylvania LC195SL8 HD LCD T/V set, not a combo, but the problem is the same I need to program my Cox Remote to turn the power on the T/V on/off.The setup function cannot find the code, nor any codes I have tried that apply to Sylvania/Magnavox/Emerson or Funai.

there should also be an auto search feature .
from what i understand your remote is from a dvd\vcr type player??
0056 is one more code for lg's .
try loosing one 0 if it dose not work
044, 052, 068, 081
