Seems like the window fasteners came lose from the rail what needs to be done is to go inside the door and refasten the clips or pop the rail fasteners back into the window

electric windows. can fail for 3reasons power does not reach the motor. motor is bad the guides are seized.
some times, the motor seems good but is weak, bad internal commutator. (2/3s power)?
use a voltmeter see if 12v reaches motor on demand (push switch) if that is ok, we have it down to 2 problems in 5min flat. you could then disconnect the motor, and see if the windown can be operated by hand, if not , its jammed if you can , then the motor is bad or weak.
A couple possible faults: 1. bad window regulator 2. Bad window switch. To check if your window motor is bad, you can run a wire from your battery to the window motor connector. disconnect the connector and touch the pins with the ends of the wire. by reversing negative and positive will power the window up or down.. If the motor moves the windown normally with this bypass, If it do not, check fuse and relay, if fuse and relay ok you may have a bad window switch.. (replace)
It is automatic windows/locks? If so, it could just be that the switches on the doors are worn out. If that is not it, I had the motor on one overheat but it would eventually go back up inch at a time.
more than likely one of the switches are bad (down side of switch works but up side of switch dont) being as the switches are wired together if one goes bad other one won't work either take the switch out one of back doors should be same as front passenger door put rear switch in front passenger door if works then u know front door switch is bad if it doesn't then drivers door switch is bad u replaced window regulator Did that come with motor too??? if not check to see if motor is good there is two wires going to motor cut isolation back on wires and using some jumper wires attach one wire to positive terminal of a 12 volt battery attach other wire to negative terminal of battery window should move up or down reverse connections and window should move other way
You did not say if you have power windows, but I will assume you have. Remove the door panel and you should see the window motor. You can then run wires from your battery to the motor. If the motor is good it should bring the window up or down.
If no good, replace the motor. If good look for a break in the electrical lines from the dash to the motor. This a fairly difficult task. I can help you through the rough sport. Simply call or email me and I can be of further help.

Carefully remove the door panel, find the plug to the motor and disconnect, unbolt the motor- you may have to drill out rivets if it has them instead of bolts, move the glass to where u can get ahold of the motor and remove it. you have to be really careful to not let the window drop down inside the door when you loosen the motor as it may well bust, so hold on to the glass and be ready to jam the mechanism with something, possibly a screwdriver if that is necessary. It would be best to use one hand to move the glass to where u need it while removing/installing the motor and set it down on the bottom making sure it doesnt come out of its guides rather than jamming the mechanism just in case it comes unjammed and drops. reconnect, verify operation of the motor and reinstall the door panel. should be about an hour job.
Have same problem passenger side window goes up, feels resistance, rolls down half way. Had been able to hit door on driver side to get window to go up but now it just stays down. Agree with gspotlight, hate this! So not impressed by Infiniti. Having the windows do this is as good as leaving me stranded.
