Question about Altec Lansing AVS 300 Computer Speakers
My altec avs300 2.1 the big speaker of the three starts to make noise all of a sudden, even though it is not on, but only connected to the power source. And I found out that my adapter output is 22Vdc is that normal? cuz i see 18Vdc on the adapter?? or my speaker has problem??
so how can i fix the adapter?? or where can i get a new one if that is the problem.
thanks, very hope you can help me.
Don't think the difference of 18/22vdc would make the noise. Is the noise constant? maybe too close to another device like a microphone or a something that would give off radio waves. Cell phones and cordless telephones. wireless gateways/routers. Try moving speakers away from these types of devices.
