I can help you reset and fix your Garmin Nuvi 265W. If your nuvis are not acting properly after a webupdate, try it again with the newest webupdate software (available below). After backup up your favorites, and performing the webupdate, try the hard reset AFTER the webupdate. This sequence has been known to help.

  1. Back up your Favorites.
  2. Download and then run Garmin WebUpdater to replace its firmware / system software.
  3. Perform a Hard Reset.

I hope that helps.

Pair iphone to general motors car

  • Get into your GM vehicle with your Bluetooth compatible cell phone and turn both on. Use the dashboard controls to turn your GM's Bluetooth system to its "Discovery Mode."
  • 2 Go to the Bluetooth application on your phone and turn the Bluetooth mode on to its "Discovery Mode." Now your phone will begin searching for other Bluetooth devices within its range. When it locates your GM's Bluetooth, your phone's screen will show the name of your vehicle and ask if you'd like to continue syncing the two Bluetooth devices. Select "Yes."
  • 3 Enter the numeric code that appears on your GM control panel screen into your phone and continue the pairing process. While pairing, your phone will share your contact information with your GM to enable the Caller ID on the dash screen to work.
  • 4 Confirm successful pairing by making a phone call. Make calls using your GM's voice activation, which is done by pushing the "Phone" button on your steering wheel. You can also dial from your phone's keypad and the sound will transfer to your GM's speakers.

Cannot 'pair' the HPBLU H1 to my Blackberry..? Not 'finding' it... need a users Guide... where can I get one...?

    Instructions

Pair Your Blackberry with a Bluetooth Headset

Turn on Bluetooth headset and Blackberry hand-held.

Enable the Bluetooth radio by going to the options window and clicking on Bluetooth. Click on Enable Bluetooth in that window.

Add your Bluetooth headset to your Blackberry by clicking on Add Device in the Bluetooth window.

Find and select the name of your Bluetooth headset from the list that appears. The Blackberry will search for all Bluetooth devices within range, so other devices might show up on the list.

Click Activate Bluetooth device if you receive a call and the Bluetooth headset does not pick up automatically.

Use your Bluetooth Headset with your Blackberry

Make sure the Bluetooth radio on your Blackberry is turned on before you try to use your Bluetooth headset.

Use the voice-dial feature to call contacts if your headset has that capability. Not all headsets support voice dialing, but more of the newer models do.

Press the on/off button on your headset to end a call or use the end button on the handheld.

    Tips & Warnings

Pair your Blackberry with any Bluetooth-enabled device using the same steps as those for connecting a Bluetooth headset.

Remove your Bluetooth headset from the list of paired devices on your Blackberry by selecting and clicking on Delete Device in the Bluetooth window.

Configure your Blackberry to connect to a paired Bluetooth headset without asking for authorization in the Bluetooth Device Properties window. That will allow your headset to automatically reconnect even if you take it out of range temporarily.

Only configure a Bluetooth headset to your Blackberry once. Once you configure the pairing between the two devices, the settings are saved and you do not have to repeat the processes each time you use it.

Turn off the Bluetooth radio on your Blackberry when not in use for security reasons.

Adjust volume on your headset or hand-held to a comfortable level. Excess volume from in-the-ear headsets can cause hearing damage.

    Connection

Begin with your headset turned off. Then, press and hold the answer/end button until the indicator light is solid lit in blue. It is in paring mode. Now, make your phone's bluetooth application search for new devices. After a while, the BT-350 should appear on-screen. Select it and make the application proceed. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing proces is successful, the headset should enter stand-by mode. The pairing process is timed. If you fail to complete it, you'll have to start it over, from the phone turned off phase. Once paired, whenever both your headset and your phone's bluetooth radios are turned on, they should connect to each other automatically. Otherwise, just press the answer/end button, and the link should be done again. In this case, it might be prudent to place the headset in your ear and check if the voice channel has been actevated (you can actually hear it). If so, either press the answer/end button again, or turn your phone off (i.e. just put it in stand-by), and make sure the voice channel has been cut off. The bluetooth connection will still be in stand-by.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out.

    Cheers! Carlos
