So i downloaded the newest software for the glasses and it still didn't work. Then I reset the software deleting it and then reloading it and still nothing. The light keeps blinking red when I try to charge it through the computer and through the outlet. Im not sure what to do next.

From what I understand you are charging with the USB cable. Did you leave it in at least for 3 hours (the PC also has to be on and not in standy or hibernation mode)? Do the glasses charge with the wall charger?
I'm having the same problem....also if you try and forward to the next song...it will repeat that same song 3 times. Its almost like the volume butons are stuck or something...they dont seem to depress the same 9you dont feel a click or anything)... weird.
RESETTING OAKLEY THUMP
Most problems can be solved by resetting OAKLEY THUMP:
• To reset OAKLEY THUMP, hold down the Play / Pause button and the Previous Song / Rewind
button at the same time. Resetting OAKLEY THUMP will not erase the songs or files stored
• If the reset procedure does not work, you may need to restore the internal software.
If you cannot get the unit toturn on try resetting them by holding down the play/pause button and the previous song/rewind button at the same time and after it resets if it still does not work you might have to go on oakleys website and update the software/firmware but this will delete your playlist. Hope this helps.
Easy fix, just did it. Talked to Oakley customer service. If your using a MAC when you delete the files off the Thump Pro, you must empty the trash. For some reason, with MAC the files are masked into the trash, so unless you empty nothing is going to change. Mine worked perfectly when I did this, after days of frustration. Good luck.
Plug the Oakley Thump into the computer to let it charge for 3 hours - a connector cable should have been provided. Double-click on My Computer - your computer should have assigned it a drive letter. Double click on the right drive letter - most computers will actually label it an Oakley. Look for a folder called Music. Now you must find songs in mp3 format only that are already downloaded on your computer. Drag the music files from the folder where your music files are stored into the music folder of the Oakley.
Not the easiest unit for beginners, but a neat concept.
