Problem for Toshiba 50H81 50 in. Rear Projection Television

No picture and the power light blinks

my toshiba 50h81 has a great picture and very few problems.but now there is no pictur no sound and the red power light just blinks i took the back off and it dose not look like any thing is disconnected or any blown fuse but i dont really know what im looking for. please help i can afford a new tv

A red blinking light could mean that the lamp timer is at it's limit and it is time to change the lamp. You will also have to reset the lamp timer by pushing and holding down 2-3 buttons on the tv or remote. Refer to your user guide for the proper way to reset and or change your lamp.
