Question about Samsung HLN5065W 50" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
I bought a demo model earlier this year and now the tv goes to black and white after only a few minutes of being turned on. I can shut it down for a few minutes and it will be in color when I first fire it up, however, after a short amount of time it goes back to black and white. is this as simple as replacing the lamp? Muchoo Tnx!!
You need to take out the DMD bord and open it up then remove the DLP Chip very carefully and blow out under the chip and all the components in the box with dry air something with a dryer on it then reassemble the chip on to the bord and make sure that the three screws that holds the mount that houses the chip are snug then you will need to put the Bord back in and have someone Else watch the pitcher so you can center the pitcher. This happened to me with my samsung tv and ran across this in sum service notes for this problem. Hope this helps
