Ok check the back wall of the freezer for frost,
while your looking hold the door switch closed
do you hear the fan,
if there is frost your coil is clogged and the fan cant pull air through it
you can clean this up by turning it off for 12 hrs
but it is only a temp
if the fan is not running thats your problem
if there is no frost and the fan is working
close the freezer, open the refer upper left hand coner do you feel air.....
but if this is a maytag, you will need a
defrost circuit board

MY Frigidaire Refrigerator is 2 years old, the Refrigerator is not cold, but the freezer is working fine, what is common fix?

Most will tell you the freon is bad. but i have found in most cases the freezer works but fridge doesnt.. I have found the solution to be a bad cooling fan on the fridge it self. if the fan is not cooling the fridge will not cool. You could pull the fridge out and see if you can see the fan turn it on hi and when the fridge kicks in see if the fan or fans are working.. dust can cause them to slow or stop.

Bottom of fridge not cold

After adjusting the settings switch or dial (usually inside fridge) you wait a couple of hours then see if bottom is colder. Most fridges (older models anyway) have an adjustment procedure. This worked for our Magic Chef purchased about 1994

Fridge is not cold enough, freezer is working fine, but has frost

Just had the same problem with my side-by-side.

In my case, the solution was to empty the freezer side, to access a back panel INSIDE the freezer covering the fan and cooling coils. Two screws held the back panel cover on, and when I removed the panel cover I found the cooling coils to be totally iced up, preventing the flow of cold air into the fridge side. I left the freezer open for a few hours until all the ice was melted, before replacing the inside panel. (I used a blow dryer to help speed up the ice melting).

Everything's working fine now for me - good luck with yours!
