Disassembly of the front and top of your dryer can be found in the Service Manual at the link below beginning on page 9-1. Once the top is raised turn the drum slowly clockwise until the screws for the vane you wish to remove are at the top. Loosen the screws just a few turns and turn the drum until the coin or article falls out. Repeat for each vane until you find the noisy object. Reverse the disassembly to reassemble.

We have a dryer fin with something rattling around in it. Do the fins come off?

Need a model number for the dryer for a more definitive answer--usually you would have to open the top cover to expose the drum. Depending on the model dryer, some baffles(proper name) are screwed onto the drum, some have plastic tabs which must be carefully pushed in order to remove the baffle. Most likely, the rattling is caused by coins left in pockets--they won't damage the dryer but can be irritating to listen to. Front load washers are notorious for trapping coins in the baffles of the rotating baskets--and that is A VERY EXPENSIVE REPAIR if you want to have the coins or objects removed.

One of my dryer fins fell off how to get it back on

Look inside the drum at the place where the fin was on the drum.
Do you see any screw holes now showing?
That will tell you that you need to take the machine all apart and re-fasten the fin on with some screws, unless the holes are stripped out in the fin itself, in which you will need to get a little bigger screws, or buy a new fin.
Oh yes, I have been using an epoxy cement in a tube that has 2 chambers, and this may help you.
I think it would work here, but will not be strong enough to glue the fin back on.
I sort of think it would stand the heat if you used it to help secure the screws into the fin.
Honestly, to me the new fin sounds " hard to get".
Be blessed.

Fin that tumbles clothing inside dryer coming loose, how can I tighten it?

These fins are usually screwed on from the outside of the drum. If you're up to it this is a simple but time consuming fix. Take the cabinet off the front of the dryer, the top will come off as well. be careful of the wires from the control console, they will stay attached to the dryer. Tighten the tumbler fins on the drum and then re-assemble the cabinet. Typically the screws you need to access are the same used for the door latch and hinges. They go back together easy ........

Change is stuck in neptune dryer someplace. would it be in fins inside drum or in the drum? is there an easy fix or does dryer have to come apart?

You have to pop the top so that you can remove the screws holding the fins to the drum. to do so you must first remove the door. Opposite the door hinges is 2 more screws that must be removed. You can next remove the goalpost shaped front panel by popping the clips that hold it on. That reveals the hooks that hold down the top. Once these are removed the top will come up. Then you can remove the screws that hold the fins on and get them pesky coins out.

Hi, We have a Neptune dryer that has lost all of its 3 fins.

yes this is to me, you have to take off the door, and panel, loose bolt that holds top to front panel and you will be able to turn the drum and reinstall baffles with screws, you may need to add a flat washer if the holes have stretched.

thanks
