Shut it down forcibly.

Restart and boot into safe mode by repeatedly pressing F8

Once in safe mode use the system restore option to go back to a time when it ran OK.

It should then restart and you should be OK.

If you cannot do a system restore then do the F8 type restart again but choose last known good configuration and try that way.

Hope this is of use.

~pop up and other things

you may have a virus or trojan; msn msnmesunserv, messenger spelt wrong is a clue (mesun), turn off system restore (so as to stop virus backups), then restart your pc in safe mode F8 on boot up and select safe mode, then run your anti virus and anti spyware programmes. restart the pc and turn system restore back on, then click Start>Run, then type msconfig, then press enter. Go to the start up tab and look for the msnmesunserv programme and untick it. restart pc again and then tick the window that pops up saying you have changed settings and not to show again, it should then run ok.

How do I install Bernina Artista Software V5 on Windows 8?

Contrary to what Bernina has said about their software (Bernina Embroidery Software v5), that particular software CAN be installed AND ran in Windows 8 with no issues whatsoever. When you install it, it will perform normally (not go to a blue screen like Bernina says), then it will ask you to insert the dongle. After installation, go to the Bernina Embroidery icon and right click. Select troubleshoot compatibility. The computer will run a test to see what system you should run the software as. It should say Windows XP Service Pack 3. Select next. Now double click your Bernina software and it should start up fine. Hope this helped.

does the van stall going down the road or at idle? the won't change gears at 4000 rpm and the no start condition unless disconnect the negative cable sounds more like a computer problem. when the cable is diconnected the ECM and the TCM have to go thru a relearn process which can be some of your issues. have your mechanic do a quick learn on the trans module to see if it helps the shifting problem. the ECM on the other hand can throw out codes that can make you chase your tail and end up replacing every sensor and still have the smae problem. you may want to check for corrosion at the ECM connections.
