Try CPR in New York City. They are faster than the manufacturer, and cheaper! They have a usual turnaround of 3-5 business days. And if you become a fan on their facebook page, mention it and you will get a 10% discount.

Here is the link to their facebook page, it has all the info you need.

Hope it helps!

Will not charge

Are you using the AC Adapter, or USB sync cable to computer to charge? If using your computer to charge, you will need to have USB Driver for your BlackBerry Model installed. Download and install the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager software from: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22&dl=DA5FB46338C8C0DCB1039F7898184FC5It

Could also be that your USB Port on your BB is damaged. You can use an external Battery Charger to charge your Battery http://www.amazon.com/Blackberry-External-Battery-Charger-8300/dp/B002YGYLA8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=wireless&qid=1263514496&sr=8-2

How do I replace my usb port on the Blackberry Curve 8300

I don't think this is a user-serviceable repair. Whats worse is if you try and fail, Blackberry wont take it in for a service because you have "tampered" with your device. Suggest that you get it repaired at an authorized Blackberry curve service center.

Broken BB 8300 Usb connector . Part number details plse. Got it apart and trying to find replacement part. I am a retired tech so I have a solder ****** and small iron

try ebay and use searchwords "blackberry 8310 USB port". It should pull out 3-4 sites that sell them. The $6 ones are the same as the $19!!! No difference. However be very carefull removing and resoldering the part. If you damage one od the ports on the main board, you have damaged your phone permanently and need to use a external charger from then on....

8300 will not charge

My charge port is broken out of my 8300. I bought an extra battery and an external charger off of eBay for a little of nothing. You can also by a pod that will charge your Blackberry. The two gold tabs on the back of your device beneath the battery is an external charger connection for a desktop pod.
