Not enough space

Hi, mp3 player will not sync any of my music. It keeps saying that there is not enough space, but there is no music on my player, or anything else. It was working fine for a while, but then when I deleted a few songs to make room for new ones, its been haywire ever since. So why does its keep saying 492 MB filled, when there is nothing on there?

I can not add music

In Windows Explorer, right-click on your drive I: and select "Properties". In the displayed window will be two numbers, "used space" and "free space" ... make sure you have enough free space to hold the music you're trying to copy to it. If you think you have enough free space, post back with the numbers, and we'll go from there.

Not enough space for music db. Please free 6 MB.

If you have formatted there is no music on the player. You will have to re-sync any the music. Set the USB mode to MTP, then Use Windows Media Player 10 or higher to sync player.

Won't let me do anything

Format in WMP - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.

Sansa problem plz help

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
-----
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx

Not enough room for music database please free 4 mb

The device needs at least 4MB of free space.

You need to keep deleting files until there is 4MB less than the total capacity of the device.

Its not syncing because the device is too full.

If removing the 4MB doesnt work. Try formatting the device thru My Computer>Device Name (m200)>Right Click and select FORMAT.

Best of Luck.
