Seems that the BOIS on the motherboard is all shaken up. Can you remove the bottom plates and press it back into the seating. And while you still have it opened, press the RAM dims as well.

The fact that it shows something means that the motherboard is functional. How long will it function, I can not predict. The power is reaching the MB and the video signal is reaching the Display. So far so good.
Is yours a business laptop because it is talking of TPM (Trusted Platform Module)? The TPM is a microcontroller chip soldered to a laptop’s motherboard. It stores the private keys needed to encrypt data, vital not only for file and folder encryption, but for sending encrypted e-mail, attaching digital signatures, and authenticating your PC on a network.
As far as BIOS Shadowed and Video BIOS shadowed are concerned, press F2 at boot up and enter BIOS. Disable these features. And your system should boot. However reboot the laptop in Safe Mode by pressing F8 at boot up after disabling the BIOS shadowed features.

On second thought, disable TPM too from BIOS after pressing F2 at boot up.

How to Boot Sony Vaio VGN-S460 Laptop without CD/DVD ROM and With bootable USB

If the BIOS does not have the USB as one of the boot options then you cannot boot up with an USB memory stick.
In this case you need to replace the CD/DVD drive with a new one.

Sony vaio vgn-nr285E battery won't hold a charge

If thelaptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.
