Question about Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2) Console
I took my PS2 away on holiday and accidentally plugged in the wrong adapter. Nothing happened in that the machine didn't light up or do anything. I brought it home and realised I had the wrong adapter as mine was still sitting in its normal spot at home. Have I damaged my PS2 electronically as it now no longer works? The green light just blinks but everything else appears pretty dead.
You might have burned a fuse if the other adaptor put more power in it, thats quite bad.
If your handy with electronic things you should be able to open it, check the fuse which you can buy at an electronics store and replace it.
If your not very handy get one of your friends to check it out or get it done somewhere.
Hope this helped.
