Question about Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition

1 Answer

I can no longer access my banking eTeller account from my computer. I have verified that all security settings are as recommended, I have called the bank & my internet service provider. I added it to my trusted sites. (I can access from a computer at work, so I know it is MY computer that has the problem). After I put in my user and password, I continue to get a window that says: Error 1512: ''Due to increased security, your computer settings will not allow you to login. We suggest you check all computer, browser and third party software settings that may limit this login session. If you need assistance please contact your financial institution. ''

Sounds like they are protecting you by not allowing multiple URLs. Call the bank again.

How do I open an internet banking with capitec.

You have to follow their instructions on their website. First, you create an on-line account. The bank will do their security verification, ensuring you are authorized access to whatever accounts are yours, then they tell you your logon information (user name & temporary password). They will have several pages of disclaimers, procedures, etc..which you will need to read AND understand. Once that is all set up and you've verified access to your accounts, things vary from financial intitute to financial institute. Be sure to follow the instructions on the homepage and don't hesitate to call them if you gave ANY questions or concerns.

You must have an account to log in a Banking Service. If you don't have the required data (username, password etc) you should call by phone the Internet Assistance Service of your Bank. Only they can help you, after they follow the security procedures reuired to verify your identity..

How can I reset my password, when I can't answer the security questions, and the bank card on my account has now changed and doesn't match?

To recover your account password you can do so here https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_account-recovery&from=PayPal

If you cannot obtain the password because you no longer have access to the original account then there is an option to reset your password by phone.

Simply go to the link above and click I don't know my password - a box will appear below which then asks you to enter your email address. Enter the address for the paypal account and click continue. A message will come up stating it has sent reset details via email.

Underneath this you will see a message stating that if you no longer have access to the email to verify by phone and a link. Follow this link and it will bring up numbers to call you on to verify. Once you have done this you will be able to reset your password.

Disregard any of these emails they are a scam to get access to your facebook account. Do not answer anyone that sends any information via email especially banking or anything that wants pass words of email names or security codes or otherwise. It may look real but odds are it is not. You must verify your PayPal account first before you can pay online. Check your email for PayPal verification and follow the instructions until you have it done. Hope this helps.
