Question about Cavalry Storage Cavalry CAUO37500 500GB OneTouch Ext USB 500 GB USB 2.0 Hard Drive
Hi, My hard drive fell down from my bed when we are using it via my laptop. The power card got disconnected. When i tried to reconnect it, the hard drive is not getting detected by the PC. i tried it on some other pc but its not getting detected. I can see that the power is getting on but i am not sure why its not getting detected. It used to be automatically detected when i connect to any PC. Please help us in this regard. Its a new hard drive bought 1 month back.
Head crashed is the most likely reason.
drive has lost its directory and boot segment address.
you have lost your drive functionality.
the drive would need to be much larger than average to bother fixing, but if you need the data, then you can send it in for repair. expect 500 to 2500 for data recovery/repair.
sorry for the news.
