TV turns itself off

In the middle of watching the television, it turned itself off, would not turn back on with either the remote or from the actual tv. I unplugged and tried other outlets, as well as checked the power surge protector. The TV will "click" and the picture will come back on once it is unplugged and plugged back in, but only for a few seconds.

Same problem. TV was on for about 10 minutes and turned itself off. Hit power with no success. Unplugged, hit power received audio for 5 seconds, and it went dead. Repeated same steps to same conclusion. Help.
