1st check to be sure the batteries are BOTH good.
Power light on does not always mean there is enough to do the job.
2nd if the contacts are loose then slightly pry the contact out a little.
I do mean just a little! All your trying to do is make a better contact.
3rd make sure the batteries AND the contacts are clean!
Any corrosion or dirt/dust may momentarily cause the batteries to disconnect. Once this happens the cursor stops. No power, no cursor movement is possible.
