I don't have the remot of my DAEWO LCD20 KAT-T Flat Panel TV and i bought a logitech harmony 700 remote but their database is not correct. Logitech ask me the all HEX IR CODES in PRONTO FORMAT of DAEWO...

You wont find that anywhere - that format is proprietary and noone else is using it. All you can do is to take advantage of the learning capabilities of the logitech harmony 700 remote: buy a cheap universal remote make sure its buttons are fully functional , then enter the commands one by one from the universal to the remote : put the remotes face to face then press the same button on both . The exact procedure is in the manual of Logitech. Once all the commands/codes are in you can upload them directly from your remote.

Unable to program with universal remote

All remotes are not created equal. ;o) Even though they say "Universal" they sometimes will not have key codes to control all equipment. I would find a web page for the universal remote you have and see if they have updates on equipmet. Or, you can try going through the entire list of VHS codes and see if one other brand has the same code. Last resort...Logitech makes a true universal remote that you plug into your pc via USB and use software to uplaod your equipment. Search Logitech Harmony One. $169.

Neither my Harmon remote or my Logitech universal

Use the help function on your Logitech remote.
Need more information on specific problem to go much further.
Check for tight speaker connections on back of receiver.
Some units have fault sensing; causing 'drop out' preventing A/V receiver from turning out. Typically this is characterised by a clicking sound after receiving an IR signal.
Using high volume levels can affect speaker connections, especially at the back of the A/V unit connectors and banana speaker wire connections.

Need program codes for harmony 670

Your Harmony remote does not use codes. In order to program the remote, you must download the Harmony software, which you can download at http://logitech.com/myharmony. Once you have the software installed, you will be prompted to create an account and complete the setup.
Hope that helps.

How do i program for sony cd player

I also have a Sony CD player (CDP-XE330) and I have tried almost every code from the yamaha manual, but without success.
The only codes that yamaha remote supports, are the codes from the list in the yamaha manual. If none works, you are out of luck and the only solution is using the original sony remote (if you have one) or universal remote.

I have recently purchased Logitech Harmony 525 on eBay and now I control all my 7 devices with it without any issues. It is programmed via USB and Logitech has codes for almost 250.000 devices.

No instruction manual

Hello Kenton.
Sorry to hear you're having a problem with your new remote control. This remote must be programmed using the internet. It should have come with a CD and a USB cable. You need to install the software from the CD, and then after installing the software, you need to connect the remote control to your computer using the supplied USB cable.
When you plug in your remote using the USB cable, the Logitech Harmony Software should automatically turn itself on (just like other software automatically turns on when you insert a music disc into your computer). NOTE: the remote cannot be in the cradle when doing this.
The first time you use the software, you need to create an account with Logitech. This, along with your remote control's internal serial number, will identify you as a user during subsequent visits to the website.
Once you register, you will be presented with a series of screens that will ask questions about what equipment you own (the brand of your TV, stereo system, etc.) and how all your components are connected to each other. After answering these questions, the Harmony One remote will be programmed for you.
The Logitech website is well designed, and offers lots of help and tips (on the right side of your screen). If you have trouble, you can usually find help there, or on this forum. If the remote was purchased new, you can also get excellent on-line support (by phone or live chat) from their very knowledgeable customer support staff.
Good luck.

Need a manual to know how to use the various menus on the remote

The Logitech Harmony 890 remote control is programmed through the
Harmony Windows Setup Software.

Once installed, you will simply run the program and select the devices you would like to control from menus. This program finds the right codes for you and loads them into your remote control.

You can get a copy of the Harmony 890 Manual by clicking here.

I hope that helps.
