The cut out pressure is adjustable. Normally, it is not above 120 PSI. It is adjustable with a screw on the cutout switch.

I have SSR up series 15-30hp air copressor. The compressor will start and build pressure until the pressure gets to a certain reading on the gauge and the unloader valve begin to unload the air out. But the...

The compressor will run stop start or load unload. There is a switch for this. Make sure the right mode is selected.stop start for light use. Load unload for heavy. This mode keeps the starting and stopping to keep from burning up the motor. That is rated by stops per hour. They shouldnt be more than 10 times per hour

How much freon does a 1997 lincoln town car take

I'm pretty sure that model took 1.2lbs of 134a. If you have a newer recharge kit with pressure guage it will have a red section indicating high pressure not to fill past that point. If your freon is fully depleted (no cold air) I'd recommend running a can of stop leak/dye which has a flourescent dye to help locate leak if you don't have a leak detector which I'm guessing you may not. good luck

A/C work requries special tools and training, or risk serious injury. Have a qualified shop do this work, and live.

It sounds like you have hooked up to the high pressure side, extremely dangerous.

You need to know the pressures and tempratures, in order to correctly diagnose the system. Take it to a shop for this job.

Hi I have accord 96 when park temp guage past the

you can hook up your fan to a switch, fairly simple, auto zone would be able to explain it to you. so that when you turn on your car it automatically turns on and stays on, or so that you can turn on/off as you see fit. id probably have it run non-stop while car is going. i think they should all do that anyways, but they are trying to save you gas by having a sensor.

My compressor runs fine until it gets to about 100 psi. It then sounds like it labors hard, and then blows the circuit breaker. Any suggestions? It is a Crafstman 6 hp,k 30 gal, 150psi max single cylinder...

Never assume anything; check your pressure guage to make sure it is reading correctly. If a guage gets faulty, it could be showing less pressure than before, but everything else is the same, therefore the pressure is the same as always but the guage says different. If guage is good and 100 lb shows just as there is 100 lb in the tank, then maybe your electric line is not sufficient capacity and the motor starts to labor because it is pulling more energy than the line can produce and therefore everything heats up and the breaker pops. Have you moved the compressor or had a need to change the electric line and maybe it is too long or toosmall to handle what it did in the past ? Or, maybe the motor windings are old and getting deteriorated, thus allowing the motor to lose power and without the extra power to fight the pressure as it builds, the motor and line strain to work, and the breaker pops. Or, maybe the inlet and outlet valves on the head are weak and cannot hold the pressure in check as it builds in the tank thereby forcing the motor to work even harder against the pressure it already built-up; in this case, the head needs to be removed and new valves and springs replaced. Most compressor companies offer a valve kit just for this purpose. Goodluck, Macgvior

If you have a new thermostat, then your temp sensor is faulty. If sensor is new, then it is the wiring to sensor or problem with the ECM

Oil pressure gauge reads past 80

now unless there is a very loud knocking of the motor which would mean that the engine's top end was not getting any oil I would say that your oil guage is sprung and needs replacing. a high pressure rating would indicate a restriction in the oil flow pasdt the sending unit or a plugged oil filter. if the filter were plugged you would know it because your enging would run tight in no time at all. replace the guage itself... please rate this........thanks
