I had a similar problem, it took 2 dead batteries to figure it out. to make a long story short check the brakes, ours had the emergency brake pull out .. the one that is connected usually via cable to the tow vehicle. this engaged the brakes as long as the battery was charged when the battery was dead no brakes.. your brakes may still be engaging if they are worn and just not locking the brakes up.

If you mean it is going dead while sitting you might have a short or another issue drawing power from the battery. take your truck to your local battery warehouse/store the should have a meter thet will tell you if something is drawing on your system. It could be something simple, like maybe the mercury switch on your under hood light is bad and the light is not turning off thus running your battery dead over night.

Motor will not run with the choke off & rpm's go up and down

sounds like your fuel has gone stale, drain tank and put in fresh fuel, with no additive, better to drain the tank after use than use additives

Battery drained dead in ocld weather

Could be both batteries went bad.
1) I would take battery back to where you bought it and have them test.
2) Check, or have someone check, that battery power is not being used when the key is off and the car is not being used in any way. There will be a slight trickle of power use, but nothing that would wear the battery down in less than 3-4 weeks.
