Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
Psp was downloading updates and battery was removed. Now PSP won't startup. Can the firmware be reloaded to the psp and if so, how?
Reloading the firmware into a psp what won't start is called 'unbricking.'
I know that a pandoras battery will unbrick the phat psp-1001 model, but I have heard that it may not work to unbrick a slim. Since it's a paperweight now, it can't hurt to try, right?
You can create a service (pandora) battery and the 'magic' memory stick from any psp already running custom firmware. You can also buy them online, and if you look in the local classified ads website where you live, you can probably find people offering what they will call a downgrading service.
I cannot run through the steps here to create your own, but tutorials are all over the net and sites like youtube.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
