Question about Easy Flo EF1600 Central System Vacuum
I used my built in vacuum in the garage by hooking the hose up to the recepticle on the unit itself and flipped the switch on. When I hook up to the plug-in recepticle in the house, the beater turns on but there is no suction. I do get suction when I flip the switch on the hose for suction only. Thank You
Your hose issue is isolated from the garage. You have a switch problem in the handle of the hose.
If the hose has a swivel handle your problem will lie in the switch itself or the contact rings within the lower portion of the handle itself. If this is a light gray hose with swivel handle several years old switches were an issue from time to time . The problem can normally be fixed by replacing the internal wiring harness in the hose.
