The amp fuse should be inline under the hood by the positive battery terminal.

Tip

What to do when the microwave is arching.

Hi.
If your microwave cavity is crossed by luminous discharges of current , and you see flashing arches of current from the magnetron area to other areas of the microwave oven cavity, then we commonly say that the microwave is arching.

The first thing to do in this case is disconnecting power immediately, and trying to remove the cause of arching if possible.

Arching will damage the microwave oven, if it goes on for enough time.
Any metal conductive object, such as a spoon or a fork will cause arching if left inside the oven when the microwave device (the magnetron) is operating.
Ensure that there is no metal object inside, while the appliance is operating.
Some vegetable with an high amount of metal , and some other ingredient, like bacon , are known to cause arching in sporadic cases.
In that case add a little water to the food in the oven and try again.

Sometimes recycled paper, or use of containers that are not for microwave can also cause arching. In that case use a different container, or paper.
If there is arching and bad burnt-plastic-like smell with any food being cooked, that means that there is a major problem, and that if the oven is used in this condition, you may get further damage to the appliance. In some case there may also be safety concerns.

As said, you get arching inside microwave when inside the cavity there is a strongly conductive object, such as a metal object or carbon residue.
You also get arching when the oven cavity is damaged.
In this last case the cavity may have lost insulation, and it is better having the oven repaired by a technician, that will also conduct a radiation leak test on the appliance to prove its safety.

To attempt fixing the problem by yourself , you can do the following:

Disconnect power cord.

Check inside the oven cavity, ensure that there is no foreign object inside (such as a small screw). Check also under the turntable.

Check that the light and the magnetron covers are well in place.

Clean the cavity thoroughly, clean also the lamp enclosure if this can be accessed. Carbon residue from food may be causing the arching.

If after cleaning the arching is still there, that means that the cavity is damaged. In that case better calling a technician.
A damaged microwave may loose insulation , and this may be very dangerous for health.

If you want to contact a technician, the best thing to do is ringing the phone number listed on the appliance owners manual.

Everytime i turn on my stove it makes a big bang noise, i cant figure out what else it could be.

Sounds like your cord or wireing may be arching. Your elements may also be making that noise. Carefully try to see if you can see what is arching.

If you need further assistance please comment me back.

2003 sportster 1200 100 aniv. Only fires on one cylinder. Dont know what to do. The wire going to plug looked like it was pinched and arching so i unplugged it and put different one on ( not exact same but...

If your plug wire is arching, it's telling two things. One, it's got break in the insulation and two the plug resistance is too high. Try a new set of spark plugs. Buy a set of standard Autolite plugs if you can get them. Don't buy the high dollar plugs. Autolite 4164. Try that. If this doesn't work, check the compression on the cylinders. Should be 100 psi or better. If the compression looks good, the ignition system is questionable.

Good luck

I have a 2001 Sportster 1200S...installed deutch connector on front lights and while checking circuits my lead slipped of a terminal and touch between two and arched heard what sounded like a breaker...

The sound your heard could have a fuse poping. If you accidently arched something out, then the fuse should be the first thing to go. should be an easy fix. First try and locate your fuse box. , or any fuses. take off your seat, and remove the side covers to find the fuse box.
Hope this helps.

I have a Wurlitzer 2200 from 1959 where the guide tip assembly has to be replaced. I already have the new one and would like instructions on how to change it. It is difficult to get to with small parts as...

That's quite a job to take on. The easiest way is to remove the mechanism from the cabinet but you can also get to the tips by removing the arch and the carousel.
Remove the 4 springs the mech is sitting on. Slide the mechanism backwards about 3 inches (to allow the arch to come out). Undo the bowden cable (the metal cable. You undo it by loosening the screw on the bracket at the bottom and unhooking it.) Loosen the audio wires from tone arm and the trip wires from the arch etc so the arch assembly is free of everything.
Undo the four bolts up under the arch posts.
Lift the whole arch assembly complete with tone arm etc up and then tilt backwards and out. (Take note of the small metal post on the left side as it needs to go back into that small hole in the arch assembly when you put it back).

Remove the carousel. Undo the cover plate in the centre if it has one. Undo the huge circlip. Lift off.

Take very careful note of how everything fits together.

I have a clarke 130en mig with gas and it will not weld

The most common problem is that people still try and run the welder with extension cords. 10 ft,25ft,50ft,100ft, these cords all drain and can't supply the energy needed as if you were to plug it straight into a wall outlet. well I don't have a plug outlet where my work is, I need a extention cord. The only solution for not having a handy outlet is a Generator. that will supply the necessary voltage needed to do the job. EXTENSION CORDS ARE A NO NO. also, always double check your ground.

Hope this was helpful, please post a rating good or bad, thank you.
