Question about Televison & Video
Panasonic TV CT32G4 child lock code is on in always mode and factory directed reset procedures do not work. manual and panasonic support want the tv to be taken in to a repair center. this is not economical or practical. Can you help please.
There are two alleged ways to do a factory reset. Holding the off and plus volume buttons and doing the same only also holding the minus volume button all at the same time.
They also say to try code 0000 afterwards if it does not reset.
They say the child y and c are routed through A15/J15 pins 1 & 3. .... Just about all of the 1998 Panasonic tvcrs use this same protect circuit. These pins can be jumped if found.
Can anyone get a diagram of the circuit board that shows the pins if reset does not work and add/comment to/on this please. Thanks.

• Unlock all of the channels on the TV by
entering "6688," which is the factory reset code. This code resets
the TV to original factory settings. Once this is done, you will have to go
through the initial setup.
• Call Omni technical support at (416)
260-0047. A technician can help you troubleshoot the television as the problem
may not be the child lock. You'll need to know the model number and serial
number of the TV.
•Take your television to a TV repair shop if you are still unable to unlock the TV. The problem may be with the wiring, so the repairman may have to rewire the TV
