Your Craftsman Tree Pruner is a 1993 model. Sears no longer sells the replacement blade. The pruner was made by Fiskars for Sears. Check out their replacement blade Fiskars # 9333.

The 8 angle anvil pruner sku #836-7013 has a design flaw. It is not a saw; it is not a chainsaw; it has Is there a pruner like this with a better design?

I think this is one of those cutter blade type of trimmers , I do know you have to keep blades razor sharp to cut anything with them , as they do tend to go dull easy (by design) , id go with a pole pruner chain saw if your looking to replace it , but beware as pruner chain blades and chain saws are not interchangeable due to fact that pruner's are made to cut on both sides of bar , chainsaws only cut on down stroke hence have a much more aggressive chain rake , don't put a chain for this on a pruner saw you'll be putting your self at risk of injury

I bought a simple 8" angle anvil pruner sku #836-7013 for $12. It is not a saw. Look up the product number to see what it looks like.

$12 for a pruner is going to get you a cheap one. Felco makes good pruners. They're not $12

I CAN'T REMOVE THE SPLINED SHAFT FROM MY STIHL HT101 POLE PRUNER.

Take it to an authorized repair center. Not what you want to hear but its better that way. It is a complicated ordeal that if you aren't trained for you can do damage to the shafts

Expand-It ZR15520 Pruner Attachment oil container broke need new one, do u know i can get this? thx

Go here to start your pruner lookup process. You will have to agree to the terms on their site. Your part may come up under Ryobi but I feel it is the same part as the the Expand It one.

I wish to obtain a replacement guide bar for my Ryobi Expand-it tree pruner but have been unable to find a source so far. Can you help?

Your Ryobi tree pruner is actually made by Homelite. The model # for the pruner is RY15520. The guide bar is part#671834008 and is available through www.homelite.com or your local homelite dealer. Online, the bar is $28 plus shipping. To avoid shipping, buy it from the local dealer. You can search for your local dealer on the same website. To find the part, go to "order parts online" at the upper right part of the homepage. It will then transfer you to Gardner, Inc. Gardner handles all of Homelites online parts.

Good luck!

Chain saw pruner blade will not turn

http://www.homelite.com/service_support Navigate to your pruner, order parts and you will find an exploded diagram of pruner. On mine , same problem, the Pinion assy @ $10 and the Gear assy @ $30 were both worn down to the point of non-engagement. They both have brass teeth. Special tools needed : correct torx bit and snap ring pliers. hope this helps.
