Question about Dryers
My dryer stop producing hot air, looked at heater element does not look burnt out, can anyone advise me on what to do as i looked at web advice saying to reset on a reset button but can not locate it where they are telling me it is.
i would be very grateful xx
Disconnect/Unplug your power going to the dryer, then disconnect the two wires from the heating coil and use a continuity meter across the terminals to make sure it is not burned out.You should have continuity across the terminals. Sometimes just looking at the heating coil is not enough.
If it is ok, the the problem might be faulty a thermostats.
Depending on the make of your dryer you may or may not have a reset button. If you do it will be in plain sight when you remove the back of the dryer.
I hope this helps
