Moen 87135c - cant take apart

I have a moen 87135c kitchen faucet (or similar) that is leaking - looking to change the cartride, the O rings, just tighten or all - but I can't figure other way to get it apart - I don't see an allen wrench socket or other way to unscrew it - what am I missing?

OK so I got it apart - thanks very much- replaced the cartfidge (Lowes didn't have O rings) and put it all back together - but it still has a leak - I guess I should try the O rings -

Does o-ring replacement involve diconnecting water hoses in order to get under the spout? Wondering if its better to replace the whole faucet at this point

On handle of faucet you will see a red/blue plug button, under that is a set screw. loosen and this will allow you to remove handle.

Need to replace O Ring but cant pull the spout off

there might be a allan screw holding it down usually located at the back of the faucet if not there is a chance that there is a screw on escutcheon just above the base of the spout this should screw off with a strap wrench.

You can just replace the o-rings. You have to remove the large nut at the base of the spout. I posted a blog post -and a video about me replacing mine.

Single handle Spray faucet leaks at it's base, leaking under the kitchen sink

If you still have the receipts from the purchase call Moen directly as they warranty their faucets for life and will send you the replacement parts you need. If you need to purchase replacement parts then you can purchase a Moen single lever repair kit from your local hardware store which should run you around $10. Go the the Moen website and look for your model. They generally have an exploded view of every one of their models that will assist you in dissassembling the tap without any surprises. Reassemble the tap with the new o-rings etc installed and test.

I have a Moen Single Handle kitchen faucet, it's leaking at the base and below the neck (where is swivels for the faucet to move side to side). How do I fix it?

Replace the "O" rings that are behind the spout portion. You will have to remove the top of the faucet and pull up on the spout section. There will be a couple of "O" rings there. It is best to have Moen send the parts to you as locating the proper size "O" rings can be difficult.

Sounds like you may need to replace the cartridge if you have one of the late model single control models. You may get a clue as to how your faucet might be put together by finding a similar faucet on the Moen web site, and looking at their exploded parts diagram. (They are good about posting information; although some say their products are not so good; I really don't know personally)

I have a moen pull out kitchen faucet that leaks

You have a bad internal o-ring or the sprayer o-ring is leaking, if you look under the sink turn it off and then turn it back on, if you see it leaking out the center shft where the water pipes go into then the faucet may have a broken pipe or loose pipe. check and tell me where it's leaking at. You can buy kits to repiar them they are inexpensive.
