I think I finally figured this thing out. On mine it only seemed to happen when I was online. I thought that maybe there was just too much happening at the same time. Well turns out that there may have been. I turned off the gadgets that are on my sidebar on my desktop and voila! Works like a charm. Hope this helps

Can someone advise why a IBM Wheelwriter 15 by Lexmark typewriter keys "1, Q, A & Z" will not type? Everything else on the keyboard works except for these keys.

Sorry it took a while to respond. The keyboard is failing due to age, very common problem. I get refurbished keyboards from EBM, ph.# 800-832-6522. that should take care of the problem.

I was typing an email and moved my hand over the keyboard and all the type went extremely small and I am unable to make it larger.

Try holding the CTRL key while scrolling the mouse up and down. Or try pressing CTRL while pressing the UP and DOWN keys at the same time.

I would like a manual for the latitude D610 keyboard to know how to use the symbol that are highlighted in bleu

In the lower left hand corner of your Dell Keyboard -- you will see a Blue Key labeled -- "Fn". This key allows you the use of ALL of the other blue labeled keys on your keyboard. You must press the FN key and the other "blue" key at the same time for them to work.

The keys on the right side of the keyboard with the blue numbers on them are controlled by the Numlock key and Fn key. The light at the top of the keyboard near the power button, with the number "9" inside a picture of a lock, will be lit if the Numlock is enabled.
You may need to press the Fn key to type numbers even if the Numlock is turned on. There is a setting in the BIOS called Enable Keypad and if you set it to By Numlock you will not have to hold down this key to type a number.

If you are still having trouble with these keys, please see the general keyboard troubleshooting guide

Keyboard failure

Boot up the computer while pressing F8. A page with different menus appear. Select safe mode. Computer may respond slowly but have patience. When the names Administrator, Guest and usernames appears select administrator. For password press enter key. Once the window screen appears in safe mode go to --Start---Programmes--accessories--system tools----system restore.

Here u may be able to restore to a date where computer was working fine.
