My cuisinart foor processor will turn on, but the blade won't rotate. The light is on, but there is no movement. It is locked into place, too.

I would check the switch that gets pushed in when the top is engaged. You might want to just push the switch in with a small screwdriver.... without the blade on the cuisinart of course. If the rotor spins it is a faulty switch.
