Question about Plextor PX-760A DVD RW Dual Layer Burner
I have a PX-760A, it has been giving me trouble for a while now running very slowly when burning DVDs. Today I got a ''Power calibration area error.'' What does that mean and how can I fix it? Thank you,

this is called aging effect. different-2 wave lengths are required to read and write different type of disc. these different wavelength rays are emitted by a lense iside every dvd player or drive so as the time passes lense weakens its ability and can not emit the required wavelength to read that type of disc.
so no need to panic either u repair ur dvd drive lense or get it replaced with a new one. hope it willl be helpfull.
