If you plug it into your computer, and your comp says it recognizes it then it will charge. look on the bottom right of the mp3 screen a green bar will move and a lighting bolt will flash if its charging
if this doesnt work right off the bat put it into recovery mode. do this by pushing the hold button on so the orange is showing, then hold down the record button and power button at the same time. it should say welcome to recvoery mode after you wait a few seconds. hope this helps good luck : )if this doesnt work right off the bat put it into recovery mode. do this by pushing the hold button on so the orange is showing, then hold down the record button and power button at the same time. it should say welcome to recvoery mode after you wait a few seconds. hope this helps good luck : )

The MP3 player is charged using the supplied USB cable. When you connect the USB cable into the computer's USB port when the computer is switched on. If the MP3 player still does not charge, try connecting it to a different computer. If it still does not charge then the USB cable may be faulty. I suggest you take the MP3 player back to the supplier for a replacement. You should get them to test the MP3 charging.
yes you need a computer to charge your mp3 player if you do not have a charger for your mp3 player
To charge your mp3 with a computer you should swiych it off then connect one end of a USB cord to the mp3 player and the other end to the computer (just like you want to transfer files)
The screen of your mp3 player will light up and you will see an icon or word indicating that the mp3 player is charging.
I don't know about your model MP3 player, but most MP3 players charge via the USB cable. Just connect the MP3 player to a computer's USB port to charge the player or a USB charger.
Have you got the cable that go's between the mp3 and the computer ?. If you have then that is haw you charge up your mp3 player, you can leave it hocked up to your computer while it is charging.
Three way to Charge you Battery...
1. Charge with USB Cable- Use usb cable and directly connect to you mp3 player, And another attach to the computer.
2. Charge with Charger - directly connect to AC power supply and another attach to mp3 player.
3. Directly Boost - Another way to charge, open your mp3 player and charge your mp3 battery directly (+/-) point with Zapper (zap gun) - It will boost your battery immidietly.
If your MP3 has an inbuilt Li-Ion battery (e.g. no compartment for a standard/Ni-MH AAA battery), then connecting the player to your computer will normally charge it - this is the case for the PD-6070 'stick' player.
Your player will also indicate that it is being charged (or not charged!) via the battery level/power indicator which is located on the top RHS.
Hope it helps!
Step 1:Plug the appropriate end of the USB link cable that came with your SanDisk MP3 player into the MP3 player itself. The port for this cable can be found on the right side of most models of SanDisk MP3 players.
Step 2:Plug the other end of the USB link cable into a free USB port on your computer. This will effectively connect your SanDisk MP3 player to your computer.
Step 3:Turn your computer on. This will cause your SanDisk MP3 player to automatically begin drawing power from the computer and charging its battery. On the screen, an indicator light will flash yellow while the player is charging.
Step 4:Disconnect the cable from both your MP3 player and your computer when the device has finished charging. You will be able to tell when the charge is complete when the indicator light that previously was flashing yellow appears as solid green.
The most common cause is a flat battery. There is a trick to charging
the battery in these small mp3 players. It wont charge if it is turned
on, and it won't charges if it's in sleep mode (zzzz). Here what to do... 1. plug the payer into your USB port. or wall charger 2. switch thje player on 3. turn it off by either holding down the play button, or selecting
"System" from the menu 4. The screen will go black and the battery will begin charging.
