It is usually under a small plastic or rubber cover marked with 'A/V' or USB-symbol.

The panasonic dmc tz3 was given to me with no software or usb cords, i tried to plug it in to my computer using my own usb cord but the camera doesnt respond . how do i upload my pictures to my computer

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

I have been given a Vivitar Vivicam 3330 camera. I need a USB cord to connect to my computer and it also has no memory card. Can you help me. Thanks

You don't need a USB cord. You should be able to find SD cards at any department, electronics, or office-supply store.

USB cord isn't working. What's wrong?

Check if your camera has an option to be set to connect to a computer. If it should automatically connect to a computer without being set up manually on the camera, then make sure that the driver for this camera is installed on your computer. The camera package should come with a CD in it. If you haven't Installed this yet, please install it before connecting it to a computer.

Nikon coolpix s210 will not connect to mac

I have a Intel Mac Powerbook running OS10.5.8
On a coolpix 100, the default setting is that the camera is charged by the computer through the USB cable. You need switch that OFF.
While the camera still does not show as usb device, you can access it through the Nikon transfer program AND through iPhoto

Pictures not loading to computer

It sounds like you don't have software on your PC that will recognize the camera when connected. I am going to recommend that you do not use the camera to upload photos. It is better practice to use external (SD) memory cards and remove them from the camera to upload. You can use a USB SD reader or purchase SD cards with a built-in USB interface. You should be able to see a new drive when connecting the SD card to your computer; then all you need to do is copy over the images. One advantage is that you will save camera battery while uploading because you dont need the camera at all. It also allows you to take images with you without taking the camera, i.e. school or work. I hope this helps...californiajones7889e54.jpg67432f4.jpg4db3d64.jpg

Dont know how to upload pics to computer

after connecting your camera, power it up. the computer will then prompt new hardware found and is ready to use. in most cases, the camera will be treated as another disk in your computer (like usb disk). go to my computer and check if there is a removable devices listed. open that drive then you may start to copy and paste it on any folder of your computer.

the camera should also come with a cd, which you may install in your computer.

I have fixed my friends camera for her. This is how to fix it. Make sure the USB is connected to the computer and the camera. Go to MYCOMPUTER. You should see a Removable disk or Removable drive (E). Double click to open and it brings up a folder. DCIM. Click to open. It says IMAGE. Click to open. All your images should be in that file.

let me know if this worked for you or any one else.
