Never had that camera, however, had the same problem -- the pink stripe and pink cast. Turns out the lens cover was slightly cracked and not opening and closing properly. Thus -- the pink cast.
with your remote go to your menu and find convergence. Follow the instructions to auto set convergence. if that don't fix it the problem convergence panel if bad.
I have never encountered an issue like the one you are describing here and I have owned a Wii for quite some time; If you have a spare TV plug it into that and see if it makes any difference.
Nintendo Customer support are really helpful when I have had issues with previous products just give them a call and they will undoubtedly identify the issue and/or replace your current console
depending on how much you paid for the tv , the cost of the repair may be more than the tv is worth. but if this is a large tv , then the repair would be most likely worth it
